Things to do near Pflugerville, Texas

Did you know there’s an AWESOME Adventure Farm called Sweet Eats Fruit Farm located 28 Minutes directly northeast of Pflugerville?

Pflugerville was founded in 1860 when William Bohls established a general store and post office in his residence, and named the town in honor of Henry Pfluger. Residents established a school in 1872 and a Lutheran church in 1875. By the mid-1890’s, Pflugerville had a population of 250, and within ten years of the arrival of the railroad, the population had doubled to 500 residents. The Depression halted the community’s growth as people started to move to larger cities to find work. The population decline after World War II, and by 1949, the number of residents in Pflugerville had fallen to 380. The 1960’s brought on a new era and Pflugerville began to grow again. It became incorporated in 1965 and the population began to rise. According to the latest population statistics, Pflugerville is estimated to have 64,431 residents as of 2018.  Pflugerville’s population is still on the rise today.  With that many people in an area all looking for something to do, what better than to escape the city and head toward the farm animals!!
