Did you know there’s an AWESOME Adventure Farm called Sweet Eats Fruit Farm located one hour and 15 minutes directly northeast of San Marcos?
The San Marcos, Texas we know today was founded in 1851 and has thrived for more than 161 years. In 2001, the community celebrated its 150th Birthday-with an entire year of special events, commemorations and special publications. But this area was inhabited to the Ancient Native Americans-the Clovis Indians that date back more than 12,000 years! The original inhabitants hunted and fished along the banks of the river and took care of the beautiful land we get to enjoy today. San Marcos is a flourishing city with an estimated population of almost 39,000 residents that call it home. With that many people in an area all looking for something to do, what better than to escape the city and head toward farm animals and fun!!

Sweet Eats Fruit Farm has so many activities, special events, live music, animals, and delicious fruit that caters to all ages and occasions. As fall is just around the corner, you do not want to miss our fall festival and pumpkin patch! There are activities for everyone!

Birthday Parties
Admission includes ALL of the activities! Pony rides, the petting zoo, the giant slide, the hay maze, hayrides, and lots more. Check out our Birthday Parties page to learn more!
Field Trips
Our field trips are fun and educational! Field Trips include a guided tour of the farm. Students will learn about many things around the farm including the petting zoo animals and the fruit. Tree ripened fruit…. O. M. G!!! First time I’ve had a good peach in years! I may be there every weekend this summer. I may have to move to Georgetown! I’m a big kid so I didn’t do the activities, but I might want to hold some bunnies next time. : )!
